The participation of parishioners in the work of the various parish organisations and societies is welcomed.  Contact should initially be made with the individual society

Legion of Mary

The Legion of Mary is a Catholic Action lay apostolate whose objective is the sanctification of its members through prayer and active work including hospital visitation. Weekly meetings are held each Wednesday at 8.15  p.m.    Contact Ms. S. Hyland (Tel. 6123736).

Pioneer Total Abstinence Association

A Christian Association committed to abstinence from alcohol.  Contact: Mr D Taylor.        (Tel. 6125756)

St. Vincent de Paul Society  (Tel. 087 2772257)     

This is an international voluntary Christian organisation which draws its inspiration from the core Gospel values of love of God and neighbour and works directly to assist people in need.

St Mary’s Conference of SVDP

Meets on Tuesday evenings at 7.30 p.m. at St . Mary’s Parish Hall.

Ladies Club       

A Ladies Club meets every second Friday of each month at the Pastoral Centre.  The objective of the club is to provide a social environment for ladies of the parish and particularly to extend a welcome to ladies who have recently joined the community.

Stroke Club

A club, which supports persons who have experienced a stroke.

Apostolic Work Society

This society meets at the Parish Hall weekly and designs and makes liturgical vestments mainly for the missions
